WP4: Models for life time prediction

Aim of this work package is to develop risk prediction models for humidity related failures on PCBA using lab scale experimental data and field failure data. Experimental work will include investigating the single and multi-parameter influences. Experimental data will be used for developing probabilistic models by CORPE, AAU. The tools will include (i) physics-based models of multi-parameter dependency on critical water loading on PCBA, (ii) software able to include several interrelated stressors for the reliability prediction, (iii) methodological- and phenomenological-based recommendations and capability of risk prediction once the climatic conditions of exposure is known.
